Lemures are among the weakest devils. Lemures are the shock troops and laborers of the devils. The most selfish, cruel, and evil mortals that die and come to Hell become lemures. The only things lower in the devilish hierarchy than lemures are nupperibos, which are strange gangly-limbed bloated creatures without minds or eyes.

Description[]
A lemure is a hideous creature, appearing as nothing more than a lump of man-sized blobs of molten stinking flesh, that oozes across the ground as it moves. They stand about 5 feet tall and weigh about 100 pounds. Their soft bodies regenerate quickly, making them convenient victims of torture for the devils. A lemure is about as tough as a typical human zombie.
Combat[]
These mindless fiends make up the rank-and-file of the infernal legions. They shamble forward at the command of their masters’ whips, thoughtlessly slaughtering everything in their path. When not engaged in battle, lemures are left in the fiery spawning pits of Hell to torture any mortal souls that they find swimming amid the hellfire.
Lemures usually attack their prey by clawing them apart. Unless a Lemure is completely destroyed or told by another Devil to stop, they will continue to attack.
History[]
After a mortal soul has been thoroughly tortured for an untold time, its soul is wracked with pain and infused with hatred. It is at this time that the devils then transform the soul into one of their own. The mortal soul is corrupted with infernal power and turned into the least powerful of the devils: a lemure.
